JESUS’ METHOD

Have we a Christianity that follows the example of Christ?  We have no history of his talking disease, diagnosing it, or describing any sufferings but those that were mental, and short sentences in reference to those. He bade the sickness hold its peace, and come out of him.  This in direct proof that disease is caused by mind. So its remedy is not in talking it, but forbidding the reports of nerves, saying, hold your peace.  (Mary Baker Eddy)

Mortal mind cannot give us money, nor can it prevent us receiving all the money we need for building up the Cause of Christian Science. Divine Love increases and blesses our supply.  It is possible for us to do everything that it is right to do.  Do not work for money to come through personality.  Mary Baker Eddy

SUPPLY – 20

Inasmuch as I am a child of God, spiritual and not material I must be perfect. I am whole, I am free, I have all I need. I have no fear; I have no care; I have no anxiety for I live in Spirit, not in matter. I am in no danger; no one can deprive me of any good. I am without pain, disease or suffering for I am the perfect reflection of Life, Truth and Love. No condition of the body or the presence of anyone’s personality is essential to my happiness, for God and God alone is the spring of all my joy. I am never grieved nor disappointed. The harmony of my being is never broken, because I live in the infinite.  (Carpenter, Gilbert, Essays on Christian Science, p.31-34)  Mary Baker Eddy

SUPPLY – 19

Realize for yourself daily more than once that the fields are already white with harvest. That “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.” The need of work as well as any other. That there is plenty of work for all; that yours belongs to you and to no one else and it comes to you direct. Come to it. The supply is abundant; know all the time that this is so. Never let the sense of lack of anything stay a moment with you. It is a rank error and breeds all sorts of diseases.  Mary Baker Eddy

SUPPLY – 18

Your supply is mental, as is everything else. The more money you can think you have, the more money you can make by thinking. I do not believe in poverty any more. I know there is no such thing. I know that my Mind is unlimited and I insist that this be manifested at once. I shall be damned if I think limitation any more. I am sensing money coming to me in quantities from everywhere. I can see it just pouring in. Visualize it, mean it.  Mary Baker Eddy

Fear must be eradicated. Use conviction, say 15 minutes three times a day. “I can never fear lack or poverty again because I know there is no such thing.” The power of right thought is the thinking of that thought. I have perfect confidence in my right thought for I know it can do everything for me. (A person can hold a thought not longer than three seconds; therefore we must repeat.)  Mary Baker Eddy

Everything is God. That is, everything is good. We must bring out this great truth regarding every idea. Get right down into the depth of human nature. “Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, ye did it unto me,” say the Scriptures. The very least idea. The trouble is that we neglect the least things and try to demonstrate the higher before we have finished the smaller things.  Mary Baker Eddy

I possess nothing in matter, for to me all is Spirit. Nothing in matter possesses me. The belief then that money is material cannot possess me to cause me to fear lack. I possess only good because I am God, good, and through this knowledge of Spirit I have all money, and since we are spiritual — spirit-ual — we can have all the money we can think. Now we see from this standpoint that everything is unity between Spirit and its symbols.  Mary Baker Eddy
